These terms of service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GeneticQuant.ai platform operated by Quant Market Intelligence Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements in your jurisdiction. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Description of service
GeneticQuant.ai provides tools for designing, backtesting, optimizing, stress-testing, and deploying trading strategies using genetic algorithms and AI. The platform includes:
- Strategy Designer — visual block-based strategy construction
- GQ™ Optimize — genetic algorithm parameter search
- Backtesting engine with historical market data
- Stress testing against historical and synthetic scenarios
- Performance tearsheets and reporting
- Strategy Marketplace for licensing and sharing
- Exchange connectivity for live deployment
3. Account registration
Access to the platform requires an approved member account. We reserve the right to approve, decline, or revoke access at our discretion. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Fees and payment
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in a promotional offer. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' written notice before the next billing cycle.
5. Financial disclaimer
GeneticQuant.ai is a technology platform, not a financial adviser. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. All strategies, backtests, optimizations, and performance metrics are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Past performance — whether real or simulated — does not guarantee future results. Trading financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You should consult with a qualified financial adviser before making any investment decisions.
We are not registered as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or commodity trading adviser in any jurisdiction.
6. Intellectual property
Our property
The platform, including its software, design, algorithms, documentation, and trademarks, is owned by Quant Market Intelligence Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose.
Your strategies
You retain ownership of the trading strategies, configurations, and custom logic you create on the platform. By listing a strategy on the Marketplace, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display its performance metrics and description to other members.
7. Marketplace
The Strategy Marketplace allows members to license strategies to other members. Revenue-sharing terms for Marketplace listings are set at the time of listing and may be updated by us with 30 days' notice. We do not guarantee any level of subscriber revenue. All Marketplace strategies are provided "as is" — we do not verify or endorse their performance.
8. Exchange connectivity
If you connect a third-party exchange account, you authorize us to submit orders and read account data through the exchange's API on your behalf. You acknowledge that:
- Order execution depends on the exchange and market conditions outside our control
- We are not responsible for exchange downtime, API failures, or execution slippage
- You remain solely responsible for all trading activity on your exchange account
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
- Use the platform to facilitate market manipulation, fraud, or illegal activity
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the platform
- Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users' access
- Resell or redistribute the platform without written permission
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, trading losses, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third party's rights.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may cancel your subscription through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow export, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
14. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
